He was raised in south Georgia by the late James Wylie and Annie Tate Chandler.
He resided in Oconee County, South Carolina for the last 45 years. He leaves
behind his wife Judy, seven children, eleven grandchildren, and one great
grandchild.
Mr. Chandler was honorably discharged from the United States Army after serving
in the Korean War, and continued to serve in the United States Army Reserves for
many years following.
Funeral Services will be held at the Anderson Veterans Cemetery where Mr.
Chandler will receive full military honors.
