Lindsay Brown, age 25, of Clarinda, Iowa, entered into peace Friday, January 29, 2016 at Grape Community Hospital, Hamburg, Iowa. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Ritchie Funeral Home, Clarinda, Iowa with Pastor Greg Young officiating. Visitation with the family will be held 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Memory Cemetery, New Market, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to Lindsay Brown memorial. Arrangements were entrusted to the Ritchie Funeral Home of Clarinda, Iowa.
Lindsay Grace Wilham Brown was born on July 8, 1990. She left us much too soon on January 29, 2016, at the age of 25, at Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg, IA.
Lindsay had a deep love for her family and friends. She was devoted to her three younger brothers Logan, Ash and Ethan, her mom Cara Baumli, and her dad Glen Wilham. She had an amazing group of friends who gave her the gift of laughter and joy. She enjoyed Disney movies, good food, and Daryl Dixon. She loved celebrating holidays, especially Halloween. Lindsay was a lifelong animal lover, and had a deep connection to her furbabies Max and Piper. Throughout her life, she demonstrated what it truly meant to love others unconditionally.
Although she was young, Lindsay was blessed to have found the love of a good man when she met Henry Brown. Their wedding day was the happiest day of Lindsay's life, and Henry was the definition of a devoted husband. The strength of their love was a joy to everyone around them.
Lindsay was welcomed into heaven by her grandma Grace, her grandpa Harold, her cousin Traci, her uncle Ronnie, and her grandparents-in-law. She will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her.--Ritchie Funeral Home
