Born April 6, 1936 in Norfolk, New York to the late Julius T. Brothers and Gladys McClure. First married to Stirling Basil Britton on January 26, 1957 in Cornwall, Ontario until his passing on August 4, 1993. Graveside service on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, North Carolina. Survivors include husband, James Luther "Pete" Coleman (married August 21, 1999 in Concord, North Carolina); son Terry Basil (Heather) Britton of Harrisburg, North Carolina; two granddaughters, Amanda Nicole Britton and Morgan Christian (Adam) Mulchi.
