Geraldine was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and a daughter of the late John Wesley and Amanda Arnissa Moore Clontz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Franklin Williams, who died in 2008; and two sons, Troy Lee and James David Williams. Geraldine was a member of Dutch Cove Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Sue Trull of Canton; four grandchildren, Jackie Scroggins, Roger Williams, Stacey Shrader (James) and Terri Green (Jack); several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Ed Lowder officiating. Burial will follow at Morning Star Community Cemetery.
