Emily Marie Tucker, age 16, was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend. She passed away on July 7, 2019 in Dallas, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 30, 2003 in Waxahachie, Texas, to Adrienne Marie Jordon (Kweinton Gowens) and Steven Ray Tucker (Lety Tucker).

Emily is survived by her parents; brothers Jude Gowens, and Fredy Galindo; sisters Ashley Tucker, Mikayla Gowens, Maleah Gowens, and Jackie Galindo; grandparents Leopoldo and Josefina Hernandez and Boyd and Cathy Lively.

She was a sophomore at Waxahachie High School and loved music, mermaids, reading books, designing jewelry, and singing in the school choir. She was a loving and compassionate person who loved the color pink. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul.

Emily will be greatly missed. When you think of Emily, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon, Friday July 12, 2019, at the Coleman Jr. High, Fine Arts Center, located at 1000 Highway 77 North in Waxahachie.
