Walter Lee Reynolds, age 79 of Smyrna, passed away July 6, 2019. A funeral service was held in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Smyrna. Interment was in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Reynolds was a US Army veteran and a proud graduate of Virginia Tech. He was employed by FHWA as a civil engineer before retiring and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Smyrna.
Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his stepson Marc Mitchell. Surviving are his wife Janice Reynolds; son Bob (Denise) Reynolds of Cumming; daughter Kathy Reynolds of Decatur; stepdaughter Marla (Mike) Garrison of Smyrna; brothers Thomas (Sandra) Reynolds of Richmond, VA, and Henry (Kitty) Reynolds of Hilton Head, SC; grandchildren Jackson and Olivia Garrison, Iris Reynolds, Lilliana Crocker, Jonah Mitchell, Gabrielle Reynolds, Nate and Noah Crocker, Grace, Clare, and Evelyn Reynolds.
Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna was in charge of arrangements.
