David's brother, Ryan had this to say about him in a FB post.

"Everyone who knew my brother David Casey knew you could always count on him when you needed help. He always stood up for what is right. He believed in telling the truth no matter the consiquence. He always honored his father and mother. He called me all the time just to say I love you. I am blessed beyond measure to have had him with me all these years. He went to church every Sunday morning and every Sunday night and Wednesday night without fail because he believed it was the least he could do for someone who gave his life on a cross so that he wouldn't have to suffer hell. The Bible speaks of King David " a man after God's own heart" I believe my brother David was about as close to that as you can get. He was quick to repent when he done something wrong. He loved all of his family more than he loved himself. The good deeds he done on Earth will not be forgotten. I can't begin to explain the grief that overtakes me when I think I can't call him and get his advice that was always full of wisdom and love. He was my HERO and I love him."
