Ms. Mary Jean Sanders, age 82 of Antioch, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her parents Howard Eddins and Dorothy Boatman, her husband Henry Barber Sanders, and her daughter Denise "Cissy" Phillips.

She is survived by her son Dennis "Bubba" Sanders (Rhonda), Barbara Law, Becky Ray (Tony), Tonya Wilson (Andy Akin), her grandchildren: Jeremy Ray (Jessica) and Justin Ray. Chris Sanders (Laurel) and Zachary Sanders (Rachael), Lauren Mills (Tyler), Andrew Wilson (Stephanie), and Adrienne Akin. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Lincoln, Noah, and Wilson Mills, Paisley Mae Sanders, and Grace Wilson.

For most of her life, Mary was a homemaker, as she absolutely adored caring for her children and grandchildren. She loved thrift shopping and going to yard sales and estate sales. She also enjoyed crafting, bowling, and playing the lottery. She was also a huge Elvis fan.

A visitation for Ms. Sanders will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 4-8pm, and again on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 10-11am, with a celebration of life Funeral Service beginning at 11am. Burial in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery will follow. Spring Hill Funeral Home has been trusted with the final care of Ms. Sanders. Spring Hill Funeral Home – "Where Nashville Comes to Remember."
