Blanche M. Smith, 91, of Tampa, FL., passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Born July 24, 1927 in Worthington Springs, FL, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lottie (Hines) White.
Survivors include her daughter, Bobbi (Bill) McLeob; her sisters, Thelma Nettles, Jeannett Deatley, Jean Singletary; as well as her seven grandchildren and several great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Blanche was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Eddie B. Smith; her daughters, Betty Albrektson and Joanne (Smith) Duke; her brothers, Pete White, Fred White, Junior White, Clyde White, and Billy White; and her sisters, Ethel Hodge and Caroline Windgate.
Funeral Services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 11005 North US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592 on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11am, Rev. William McLeod officiating. Visitation 10-11am. Graveside Service will follow service at 12pm. Flowers are welcome or Memorial Donations can be made in Blanche’s memory to the American Cancer Society, www.donate3.cancer.org.
