Will was born August 5, 1947, the son of the late John William Goodson, Jr. and Emma Lou Carmichael.
He retired from Allendale County Public Works as Supervisor of Roads and Bridges. He loved his family, farming and was an avid USC Gamecock fan. He was a member of Great Saltkehatchie Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Suzanne McCaskey Goodson; three children; John William (Bill) Goodson IV of Columbia, SC; Jackie Gohagan (Nick) of Estill and Allen Goodson (Niki) of Ulmer.Grandchildren include Tison Gohagan and Mac Gohagan of Estill and Addie Goodson of Ulmer.
He was predeceased in death by wife Patricia Kinard Goodson.
Graveside Services will be held at Great Saltkehatchie Cemeterywith Reverend Fred Orr officiating.
