John Alexander Yarrington, the eldest son of Solomon and Experience Yarrington was born in the state of Ohio, October 22, 1854 and passed to eternal rest on December 8, 1926 at the good age of 71 yrs. 1 mo., and 16 days, at his home east of Tiskilwa.

He was united in marriage to Flora Fox on February 13, 1879. To this union was born nine children, one son dying in infancy. The other eight, four boys and four girls with the widow are left to mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband and father.

He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Diantha Fox of DePue, and two brothers, Wilbert and Arthur of Princeton. There are nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, besides several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The funeral will be held from the Searl's Ridge Church and interment will take place at that cemetery tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.
