Passed away peacefully on September 18, 2018 at the age of 87. He was a truly remarkable man; a devoted husband; a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather; and a faithful servant of God. He was a teacher with the Orono School District for 30 years and achieved the rank of Captain in the US Naval Reserves. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Emma; his older brother, Alden; sister-in-law, Ruth; and his beloved wife, Diane.
