2 Apr 1891, obituary published in Topeka, Shawnee Co., Kansas: Mrs. Huntoon, wife of Dr. A. J. Huntoon, died at the family residence, at the corner of Fourth and Harrison, at two o'clock this morning. She had been ill for some time with a complicated disease. Mrs. Huntoon was a native of New Hampshire, and was sixty-two years of age. Dr. and Mrs. Huntoon were among the first settlers of Topeka, and her death though not unexpected, will be mourned by hundreds of friends in this city.2185
