Justin Eugene Zygmunt Bishop, "Justin E. Z. Bishop", September 21, 1980 - February 6, 2016

It is with the deepest sadness and heartache that the family and friends of Justin Bishop wish to inform you that on the morning of February 6, 2016 Justin passed away in his home in Chantilly, VA as a result of cardiac arrest. Justin was in the company and comfort of his wife, Jessica Hitner Bishop at the time of his passing. Justin was 35 years old.

Justin was born in Alexandria, VA on September 21, 1980. He was the first and only child of the union between Bryan and Marilyn Bishop.

Justin entered the world about three weeks prematurely, and with some complications that threatened his life, but he made up for it by barreling through life full speed ahead. His early life included a lot of changes, challenges and shenanigans. Justin attended several different schools during his early eduction, resulting in having gained many dear friendships over the years. Justin graduated from Stonewall High School in Manassas, VA and later attended ITT Technical Institute earning his associates degree. Anyone who knew Justin got a crash course in ADHD, volume control, room rearrangements, laughter, a lot of good natured ribbing, and what it meant to be a true friend. Justin was also blessed with not two, but three parents. Justin's Godparents were Joseph Doughterty "Doc", who played Santa for many years during Justin's childhood, and Doc's sister "Sister Anne" who was a Nun.

More recently, Justin married Jessica Hitner on May 10, 2014, in a beautiful and emotional cer-emony, surrounded by family and friends and their daughters, Emma and Kaytlyn. Justin adored, cherished and fiercely loved his wife and daughters more than life itself. Justin would often say that they are the best thing he ever did with his life.

Justin's many interests included various genres of music, and though many may not have known this, Justin was secretly a huge Celine Dion fan. Justin loved his Mountain Dew. Redskins football was his favorite thing to watch whether in person or on t.v., with a particular devotion toward Darrell Green and Sean Taylor. Justin enjoyed craft beers, Mountain Dew, good food, Mountain Dew, an affinity for frogs, zip lining, laughing, family, and most importantly his wife, Jessica, his daughters Emma and Kaytlyn and siblings, Jennifer, Tiffany, Adam, Julia and Lo-gan. Justin's many devoted and cherished friends, and the stars in the universe, which always followed with, "Awwwe Dude Man!!" or, "Niiice"… Justin loved animals and pets of all kinds, and was a gentle soul to all who encountered him. Justin was a proud member of the Country Club Hills Swim Team, CCH Sharks in his youth. Justin was particularly proud of his Irish heritage, sporting green and anything Irish at any opportunity. If there was one thing Justin was particu-larly proud of, it was family.

Justin was preceded in death by: Marilyn K. Cox, Mother; James Ryan Hitner, brother-in-law.

Justin is survived by: Jessica Hitner Bishop, wife; Emma Rose, daughter, Kaytlyn Elizabeth, daughter; siblings, Jennifer Gordon, Tiffany Bishop, Adam Bishop, Julia Brody, Logan Bishop; Barbara Wheeler, Grandmother; Bryan E. Bishop, Father; Karen M. Bishop, Step-mother; Rose Hitner, Mother-in-law; Jerry Hitner, father-in-law; Jennifer Bielot, sister-in-law, Jeffrey Hitner, brother-in-law; Jeremy Hitner, brother-in-law; Jacob Brody, brother-in-law; Mike Gordon, broth-er-in-law; Jason Hitner, brother-in-law; Jeffrey Bielot, brother-in-law; Uncles, Christopher Bishop, David Klimaszewski, Joseph Martell; Aunts, Eileen Peloquin, Cynthia Martell, Donna Martell, Shaun McAndrew; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who adored their cousin and Uncle Justin. Above all, Justin was a devoted husband, father, brother, son and cherished friend to those whose lives he touched. Justin will be deeply missed, his voice, his laughter, his humor, his love will live on in our hearts and memories.
