Carl Richard Walker, Sr., 81, of Johnson City, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Johnson City and son of the late Joe and Wilma Walker.
In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his siblings: Joe, Grady, Josephine and Georgie; and his daughter, Tammy Walker.

Carl proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He later retired from the Johnson City Power Board as a general line foreman after thirty eight years of service. He enjoyed gardening and helping those in need.

Those left to cherish Carl’s memory include his loving wife of fifty years, Sheila Walker, his son, Richy Walker, grandson, Christopher Church, several nieces, nephews and many friends also survive.

The family will honor Carl’s life with an Entombment and Committal service at 10:30 am on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:20 am.
