Mrs. Lydia Louise Bryant, 78, of Sylvester, peacefully passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 7, 2019, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Pastor Glen Jarrett will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Sylvester.
Born October 6, 1940, in Baker County, Mrs. Bryant was the daughter of the late John Wesley Norris and Thelma C. Bragg Norris. Mrs. Bryant was a loving homemaker who cared well for her family. She was a foster parent in Lee County and volunteered with the SOWEGA Youth Home in Sylvester. Mrs. Bryant was a faithful member of Beattie Road Church of Christ of Albany.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death her sisters, Juanita Hogge and Maxine Norris; granddaughter, Tuesday Bryant; grandson, Joey Bryant and infant grandson, George Hayes Bryant.
Survivors include her beloved Tributs Bryant, Jr.; children, George Bryant of Albany, John Bryant (Lisa) of Albany, Karen Hatcher (David) of Columbus, GA, and Michael Bryant (Staci) of Lee County; grandchildren, Chris Hatcher, Trish Russell, Dawn Cutchens, James Bryant, Jamie Bryant, Amber Beddingfield, Elli-Lenea Hayes Bryant , Alyssa Hurst, and Zachary Hurst; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Vera Moll (John), Mary Parker (Charles) and Paulette Hembree all of Sylvester; several nieces and nephews.
Hall and Hall Funeral Home of Albany was given the honor to serve the Bryant family.
