Evelyn Ruth Capson Stites, 71, of Tulare, Calif., went home to our Heavenly Father on July 8, 2011.
Evelyn was born in Ely, Nev., on March 4, 1940, but lived most of her life in Blackfoot area before coming to the cities of Visalia in 1986 and Tulare in 1996.
Evelyn was a retired restaurant manager and home health aide for agencies in this area.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George H. Capson and Leona Workman Capson; her son Brian and brothers Keith Capson and Donald Capson. She is survived by two sons, Michael Capson and Todd Capson of Visalia, Calif.; by two brothers, Arnold Capson of Visalia, Calif.; and Lloyd Capson of So.
Windsor, Conn.; and by three sisters, Nelda Richards of Perris, Calif.; Ruby Scharnick of Fresno, Calif.; Jo Ann Stewart of Blackfoot and many loving nieces and nephews.
Evelyn loved pets, reading, crocheting and especially the big family get together on 4th of July in Idaho. She was a loving caring, mother, sister, aunt and friend.
Burial was in Blackfoot.
