Ms. Cochran was born in Franklin County, Ga., a daughter of the late Lonnie C. and Alma Ayers McDuffie.
She was retired from Riegel Textile Corp. and was a member of the Quarter Century Club and a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dwight Cochran of Lilburn, Ga., and Mike Cochran of St. Matthews; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
