Mrs. JoAnn Young Long, 87, of Marion, KY, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Crittenden Health Systems in Marion.
Mrs. Long enjoyed being with her family, playing cards, fishing, and shopping. She was a member of Marion Church of Christ.
She is survived by four sons, Wayne (Lori) Long of Ledbetter, KY, Steve Long of Salem, KY, Robert Long and Ronnie Long of Marion, KY; two daughters, Janice (Mike) Johnston of Hopkinsville, KY, and Teresa (Scott) Kayce of Marion, KY; sisters, Connie Cowan of Marion, KY, Bonnie Penn of Owensboro, KY, and Sue Belt of Marion, KY; brothers, Terry Young of Salem, KY, and Stanley Young of Marion, KY; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Long; son, Stanley Long; sisters, June Young Norman, and Mona Blake; brothers, Richard Young and James Young; and parents, Johnie and Annie Rustin Young.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Monday, July 8, 2019 at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with David Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 12 PM until the funeral hour, Monday July 8, 2019 in the chapel of Boyd funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY.
