Emily Isabel Fox Expires Today At Home In Elwood
Mrs. Emily Isabel Fox, 80, widow of John W. Fox, died at 9 o'clock this morning at the family home at 550 North Fourteenth street, of infirmities of age and complications, following an illness of two years.
She was the daughter of Edward and Isabel O'Hara and was born in Covington, Ky. On March 11, 1879, she was married to John W. Fox. He died July 21, 1930.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Laura Leer, Mrs. Lily Windsor and Mrs. Violet Schlosser, all of Elwood; two sons, Oliver Fox, Elwood, and John W. Fox, Jr., of Marion, and one sister, Mrs. Maria Mason of Pittsburgh, Pa.
The body was removed to the York Memorial Chapel and prepared for burial.
Funeral services will be conducted at the United Brethren Church Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with Rev. L. G. D. Wertz, pastor, in charge. Interment will be made in the city cemetery.
