Charles Frederick Hartman, Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on June 24, 2019 at the age of 73 years.
The son of the late Anthony and Mildred (Schwartz) Hartman was born March 24, 1946 in Saginaw. He graduated from Saginaw High School- the class of 1964. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Vietnam. He worked as a K-9 officer and retired from the Saginaw City Police Department in 1990. After his retirement, Chuck worked for Senator Jon Cisky as a district representative. Chuck was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, Fraternal Order of the Police, and American Legion Post 439.
Surviving besides his wife and companion of 40 years, are his two children, son-in-law, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, his sister, his brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Chuck was predeceased by his daughter Alycia Clauss, sisters Barbara (Clarence) Dean, and Patricia (Donald) Hardy and his father-in-law and mother-in-law: William and Dorothy Ahrens
