Jackie Don Phillips, age 67, of Skiatook passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at his Skiatook residence.
Jack was born September 27, 1951 in Yale, Oklahoma to TR and Virgie (Frazier) Phillips. Jack grew up and received his education in Jenks where he graduated in 1969. Jack married Donna Kay Duke on November 1, 1985 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas making their home in Skiatook since that time. Jack was employed with Little Horse and Company, Cherokee Casino’s Will Rogers Downs and Osage Casinos Tulsa where he was a Security Guard until his retirement in March of 2017. Jack liked riding motorcycles where he was the Founding Father of Oklahoma Widows Sons. Jack was a member of the Skiatook Masonic Lodge #416, Charter Member of Akdar #555, Akdar Shrine Temple, Scottish Rite, Saba Grotto, Masonic Indian Degree Team, Past Master of Skiatook Masonic Lodge #416 and Past Vice-President of Kihekah Steh Indian Club.
Jack was preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers; Howard, Bob, Rusty and Mike Phillips.
Jack is survived by his wife; Donna, children; Clydia Mangold, Jackie Don Phillips Jr and Melvin Phillips, Brothers; Harold Phillips, Roy Phillips, Bill Phillips and Kenneth Phillips, sister; Ginger Hall, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
