Bob was born on February 9, 1933 to the late Robert C. and Elizabeth Westbrook in Lincolnville, Kansas. He married Betty Briley and the couple spent the next 41 years together. Bob retired from Beech Aircraft in El Paso, Texas as a regional manager of 6 states and 27 foreign countries. He was in MQM-107 unmanned aircraft during the Vietnam War, where he was sent as a civilian contractor. He will be missed by family and friends.
Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Westbrook; grandson, Joshua Westbrook; and great-granddaughter, Ava Fry.
He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Westbrook of Wichita Falls; sons: Steve Westbrook and wife, Pam of Conway, Arkansas, Michael E. Westbrook and wife, Cathy of Benton, Arkansas, Pasquale J. Algiere and wife, Heidi of Tumwater, Washington and Michael J. Algiere of Wichita Falls; 5 grandchildren: Brian Fry and wife, Marla, Trisha McNamara and husband, Michael, Matthew Westbrook and wife, Jadrien, Jesse Westbrook and wife, Laura and Jordan Holland and husband, Cody; 11 great-grandchildren: Taylor, Olivia M., Zoe, Lola, Olivia F., Madilyn, River, Kase, Maverik, Kyle, and Kate; nephew, Perry Westbrook and wife, Polly; and great-nieces, Brittney and Chelsea of Redwood City, California.
A private family service will be held in Wichita Falls and a Memorial Service in Conway, Arkansas at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in “Memory of Bob Westbrook” may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls 4909 Johnson Rd, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
