On June 29, 2019, Janet Wilhelm, beloved wife of the late Gary W. Wilhelm, passed away peacefully at home while under Hospice care. Her will and determination to remain at home throughout her health challenges, as well as a love for her family, carried her to the end. Not only was she a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend, to all that knew her, she had a very big heart, and was generous in her support of multiple charities. Although she is physically gone from this world, we know she will be with us, and watching over us always. Janet was born on December 11, 1945 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of Kirby L. Wright and Rosa B. Wright (Dalton). She is survived by sisters and brothers. She was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Chapman.
Janet will be cremated and laid to rest at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, alongside her husband.
