Hattie Mae Adams, 93, departed this life on April 22, 2019. Hattie, affectionately called “Nanny”, was born to the late Zeke Perry and Jencey L. Perry on November 18, 1925 in Smithville, GA. Nanny was a woman of God who was very independent and loved her family dearly.
She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Luther B. Adams, Jr. (Mary); daughter, Faye Adams; nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband Luther B. Adams, Sr., two sons, Larry & Stephen Adams, two daughters, Barbara Leggett and Jeanette Adams; one sister, Mattie M. Adams and one great great grandchild.
