Nona was born on January 24, 1940, to Eula Mae (Hardee) Beasley and Weldon Warren Beasley. Her family was first in her heart along with her great faith in God. She loved her church and The Woman's Club of Fort Worth, where she enjoyed many friends. She was a member of the Woman's Shakespeare Club and The Round Table, the Addison & Randolph Clark Society, The Britain Society at TCU and a Paul Harris Fellow with the Rotary Club.
She is preceded in death by Charles, her husband of 54 years, an infant daughter, Cynthia, her mother and father, brother, Bobby and sister, Wanda Sue Beasley Thompson.
She is survived by her son, Alan Cobden and wife, Debbie of Chickasha, OK; son, Gary Cobden and wife, Marisue, of Edmond, OK; daughter, Lisa Berg, of Waggoner, OK; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Dechart of Azle; numerous nieces and nephews and her devoted friend, Anne Simon.
11 a.m. Wednesday, April 25,2018 at First Presbyterian Church.
Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson's Harveson and Cole.
