His text was from Rev. 14-13, "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord, yea sayeth the Spirit, for they shall rest from their labors, and their works do follow them."

Good Woman Passes Away Sunday at Home in This City -- Leaves Large Family to Mourn Her Departure.
Mrs. J.O. Brubaker died Sunday at 1 p.m., after a lingering illness at her home in Lake View addition. The funeral was held from the German Baptist Brethren church at Surrey Tuesday at 2 p.m., a large number of the friends and relatives attending.
The deceased was born in Virginia and was 64 years, 3 months, and 12 days of age at the time of death. Several years ago she accompanied her husband to Minot from Oklahoma, that she might be near to her children.
Mrs. Brubaker was a good woman and lived for her children and those near to her. Besides her husband she leave the following children: Mrs. Laura Miller, Missouri; Mrs. Anna Musselman, Kansas; Mrs. Paul Norton, Alerberta; Mrs. E.A. Holderman, Minot, Enoch: Gerard, Ill; John Ellison, N.D.; Chas. and W.R. Brubaker of Surrey.
