Found Dead in Bed
James Thompson, aged 80 years was found dead in bed Tuesday morning at the home of his grand daughter Mrs. William Gibson, in the south part of the city. Mr. Gibson was up with him at 8 o'clock and the old gentleman said he was feeling excellently well. He was formerly a resident of Melrose township, where he has two sons living who permitted him to be taken to the poor farm, from which place Mr. Gibson took him to his own home and cared for him till death relieved him of earthly desire.
