Karen Kay Kracke was born on April 15, 1957 in Sioux Falls, SD to parents, James and Harriet (Finton) Kracke. Karen graduated from West High School in Sioux City and then met Dean Irwin. She then started a family with Dean, living most of their lives in Sioux City and Sioux Falls. Karen spent many years working for Hy-Vee then Wal-Mart. Karen enjoyed collecting dolls and Denim Days figurines. She also enjoyed going to yard sales and working scrap metal recycling with Dean.
Grateful for sharing her life are her husband, Dean Irwin of Lennox, SD; children, Julius Kracke, Travis Irwin, John Irwin, Josh Irwin; brothers, Ken Kracke of Denver, Kevin Kracke of Sioux City, James Kracke of Denver, and Kurtis Kracke and his wife, Janice of Sioux City; sisters, Lavada Pautz and her husband, Rocky of Denver, Kim Lenninger and her husband, Mike of Sioux City, and Pam Kracke of Sioux City; and host of additional relatives and friends.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, James and Harriet (Finton) Kracke; brothers, Scott and Gene Kracke.
