Paul E. Burns, 79, Bringhurst, passed away at 1:22 am Monday, July 1, 2019, at his home. He was born December 21, 1939, to Paul E. Maxey Sr. and Gracie Curry, in Oakland City, IN. On November 24, 1961, he married Betty L. Rosa, and she survives.

Paul was a 1958 graduate of Western High School and joined the National Guard. He worked as a supervisor at Delco Electronics and retired in 1995 after 35 years. He was a member of the Burlington Kiwanis Club and Gold Wings. His hobbies included making clocks, riding his motorcycle, and listening to Gospel music.

In addition to his wife Betty, Paul is survived by his daughters, Becky Kellar and Regina (companion, Roger Rush) Kennedy; brothers, Tom Burns and Bill (Pat) Burns; grandchildren, Kayla, Jeff, Brad, Corey, Coty and Coby; 12 great-grandchildren; and his loving dog, Bandit.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Sam and Phil Burns; and stepdad, Bruce Burns.

Funeral services for Paul will be held at 2 pm Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Stout & Son Funeral Home-Burlington Chapel, 44 Michigan Rd., Burlington, with Pastor Paul Sutherland officiating. Burial will follow at Burlington Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from noon to 2pm Sunday at the funeral home.
