George was born in Flint, Michigan on June 9, 1941, son of the late Roy and Nellie (Evans) Rutter.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. from 1959-1963. George married . . . on July 13, 1989. George retired from General Motors in November 2004 after 41 years of service. He was an accomplished drummer playing in the U.S. Marine Corps. Band and the Flint Concert Band. George also enjoyed riding bicycles and running. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. George was loved by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed.
