Age 66 of Lennon, formerly of Bancroft, passed away Saturday June 29, 2019 at his daughter's home.
Funeral Services will be held 2pm Wednesday July 3, 2019 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Graves officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
Alan was born April 20, 1953 in Flint, Michaign; the son of Raymond and Leola Beatrice (Cramer) Hect.
Alan loved his garden, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling. Most of all Alan loved helping people and spending time with his family, his grandkids and great-grandkids.
He married Linda Raley in Durand on February 23, 1974.
Alan spent his years working at Universal Handling.
He is survived by his wife Linda; his children Connie (Tim) Miller, Andy Hect, Rodney Hect and James Hect; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings Carol Draheim,Ralph Hect, Tom Hect,Gary Hect, Darwin (Cindy) Hect and Rick Hect; several nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
Alan was predeceased by his sons Chad Hect, his parents; 12 brothers and sisters and brother-in-law Harold.
