She was a member of Short Creek United Methodist Church. Ida retired from Baptist Medical Center Princeton with 30 years of service. Ida Lou was a loving and devoted mother and proud granny. She loved her four legged fur baby.
She was preceded in death by her son, Frank S. Collum.
Ida Lou is survived by her son, Randall (Elda) Collum and her granddaughter, Candy (Suzy) Collum; four step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to send flowers or make donations to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
