Norma J. Koch (nee McGurthy), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at the age of 80. Loving wife of Kaydel Koch; beloved daughter of the late Norman and Hazel McGurthy; devoted mother of Ken (Kara) Koch and Vicky L. (David) Howell; cherished grandmother of Laura Prosser, Scott (Amanda) Koch, Christopher Koch, Sarah (Chris) Bolstead, Kyle Koch, Jamie (Chad) Potts, Shane (Carla) McCloud, Joshua McCloud, David Howell, II, Trisha Rollison, Nicole Koch, and Joshua Koch; treasured great-grandmother of 30; dear sister of Bill (Nancy) McGurthy, Sandra McGurthy, and Ken (Cheryl) McGurthy; and lifelong best friend of Bev (Ray) Cook. Norma is also preceded in death by her son, Darryl (Yolanda (survives)) Koch.

Norma was retired from SSM Healthcare. She was a member at First Free Will Baptist Church of O'Fallon, served as church pianist and Sunday school teacher, and taught adult bible studies. Norma was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
