Mrs. Dora Gillenwater Bartley, age 101, Passed away on Tuesday July 2, 2019 at the Signature Healthcare of Monroe County in Tompkinsville. She was Born, in Monroe County on April 25, 1918 a Daughter of the late; America Charlotta (Hammer) and William Thomas Gillenwater.

She was a member of Tompkinsville Church Of Christ, She had served as deputy Jailer in Monroe County for Twenty-eight years.

Survivors: Five Daughters; Nelda Sue (Travis) Thomas, Neva Lou (Donald) Reagan, Madeline Chandler, Mary Ruth (David Earl) Lyons, Kathy (Robert) Bentley, a Son, Tommy (Judith) Bartley a Daughter-In-Law, Lela Bartley, Fourteen Grandchildren, Twenty nine great-grandchildren and Nine Great-great grandchildren.

Other than her Parents and Her Husband, James Dale Bartley, whom she married on June 20, 1937. a Son, James Dale Bartley, Jr. a Grandson, Bryan Bartley Chandler, a Great-grandson, Thomas Scott Gentry. and all her Siblings.

Funeral Services at 11:00 A.M. Thursday July 5, 2019 @ Tompkinsville Church of Christ.

Burial in Monroe County Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
