Miss Maggie McVay, aged seventy-four years of Summerfield, died in Bridgeport, where she was visiting family for several weeks.
The deceased was a daughter of the late Dr. Thomas M. (many years ago treasurer of Noble County and a well known medical practitioner) and Mrs. Lovina McVay, and is survived by one brother, A.A. McVay of Greenville, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Caldwell Presbyterian church since 1886, and an honorary member of the Summerfield Daughters of Union Veterans. She had served as clerk of Summerfield village and Marion township.
Funeral services conducted by Rev. Charles E. Nash, pastor of the Caldwell Presbyterian church, were held in the Brubach funeral home at Summerfield, Monday afternoon, and interment was made in the Eastern cemetery at that place.
