Jerry Wayne Tatum 71, who was currently residing in Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center passed away on June 29, 2019.

Jerry was born in Jonesboro where he lived his entire life until his health caused him to move to a nursing home facility. He was an active member of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro prior to his declinin health. He served his country in the Marines, and National Guard.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Ethel Mae Tatum of Jonesboro, his adopted son, Famous Taylor, Jr. of Jonesboro, his brothers, Michael (Lucille) Thomas of San Antonio, Texas, Dennis Thomas, and Donnie Tatum both of Jonesboro, his sisters, Al-Fredia Hampton of Bedford, Texas, Denise Thomas, and Katie Tatum both of Jonesboro, step daughters,, Sharon McIntosh and Debra Hull both of Jonesboro, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services are 11 am Friday, July 5, 2019 at First Baptist church with Rev. Curtis Wilson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye, Arkansas, directed by Woodard Funeral Service of Jonesboro.

Visitation is 10 to 11 am service time at the church.
