Charles Thomas “Tom” Good, 80, died Friday, June 21, 2019, of heart failure in his home.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years Becky Kinkade of Cody. He has three children; Tom Good, John Good and Cindy Sanders, who live on the East Coast. His three stepchildren Jon Butcher, Darren Butcher and Tamie Gregg are all of Cody. Nieces Linda Jessen, of Cody and Karen Fulbright of Deaver, and nephew Dennis Danzik are still in the area.

Tom was born Oct. 9, 1938, in Toledo, Ohio. He was number seven of 10 children. He had an older brother and eight sisters. His two younger sisters are alive and live in Ohio and Kentucky.

He lost his dad as a teen and didn’t finish school. He later got his GED when his oldest granddaughter graduated preschool. He worked and retired as a General Foreman at the Chrysler McGraw Glass Plant in Detroit. He loved his work and when he wasn’t working he was fishing, hunting or golfing.

He took pride in being a Past Worshipful Master and lifetime member of Monroe F&A Masonic Lodge.

He met his wife Becky in Wapiti on Green Creek Road, just after he moved to the area. Becky is now in Albuquerque near her daughter.

Tom was patient, hard-working and always had a smile. He could remember the name of every childhood friend and employee who worked for him. He always shared a good story about days of old, factory-plant life and running the streets of Toledo.

He kept his hair combed back, pants creased, and boots shined. He would give you the last shirt off his back and then give a ride to where you were going. He is deeply missed.

A family scattering of ashes is planned in Toledo this month.
