Lyndon--Betty Jean Hanna, 76, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on October 28, 1941 in Clebit, Oklahoma, the daughter of Curtis and Thelma Needham Hinton.
Betty had lived in Lyndon since 1960. She worked as a keypunch operator, unemployment computer room supervisor, then as a computer programmer for the State of Kansas for 23 years. She was a Sunflower Stepper and was a member of the Lyndon Salt Creek Lighthouse Assembly of God Church.
On September 25, 1959, Betty was united in marriage to Melville "Hotch" Hanna in Clinton.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Thelma; twin brother, Billy; brothers, Paul and John Lee; and sisters, Nancy, Pat, Louise and Sandy.
Betty is survived by her husband "Hotch" of the home; her three sons and wives, Hotch Jay & Ann Hanna of Navarre, Florida, Terry & Twila Hanna of Lyndon and Mike & Laura Hanna of Vassar; four grandchildren, Aaron, Tyler, Alicia and Lucas; her dog Little Bit; brothers, Curtis Lee and Ricky; and sisters, Faye and Jeannie.
Funeral services for Betty will be held at 10:00am on Friday, June 22 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions to the Salt Creek Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS. 66451.
