--Geneva was the first of 2 children of Noble White and his first wife Minnie Nicholet. Geneva was only 5 years old when her mother died. Her father then remarried. The Whites lived in Scioto County in 1930 and in Franklin, Ohio in 1935 and 1940. Geneva graduated from Jackson High School and from Tri-State Business College in 1942.
--She married Stephen E. Fedo on May 3, 1947 in Franklin. The couple had 3 daughters: Patricia, Nancy, and Carol. She had 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
--Occupation: Newspaper reporter in Kettering, OH, and she also wrote for the Granville
Sentinel, Granville, OH as well as The Matthews News, Matthews, NC.
--She was involved in Girl Scouts for eleven years. Geneva was also an active member in the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs as a member of her local club and as a Regional Director for Region 8 in the late 70's. She also held programs on herbs and plants of the
Bible.
