The News-Herald, Jul 2 2019:
Jason M. Ross, 37, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie. Born Aug. 9, 1981, in Erie, he was the son of the late Terry Ross and the former Kristy Wood.

He attended Clarion University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree, and was a truck driver for Cellone's Italian Bread Company. In his spare time, he loved to watch NASCAR and dirt car racing, enjoyed the great outdoors, loved to kayak, was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeye football fan. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Jossilyn Ross and her mother, Miriam, of Grove City; brother, Dave Hines, of Wyattville; sister, Valerie Wheeling and husband, Monte, of Cooperstown; two uncles, Mike Wood and partner, Kevin, of St. Petersburg, Florida and Sam Ross and wife, Connie, of Oil City; two aunts, Barbara McFeaters, and Sandra Hoffman and husband, John, both of Franklin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Roy Hines; and his special cousin, Jeff Hoffman.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Jason will be laid to rest at Franklin Cemetery.
