Evelyn C. Osborn, 89, of Dillsburg, formerly of Staten Island, N.Y. passed away on June 30th 2019 at Elmcroft of Dillsburg.
Evelyn was born in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late Albert and Charlotte (Endall) Nystrom. She was predeceased by two sons, Timothy and Thomas Cummings , son-in-law Ernest Hromada, daughter-in-law Alma Cummings, a brother Roy Nystrom and husbands Patrick J. Cummings and Charles Osborn.
She is a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Carlisle and worked as a Librarian at Wagner College and the New York Public Library.
She is survived by a daughter Nancy Hromada, sons Michael, Robert and wife Lisa, Kevin and wife Lorraine, daughter-in-law JoAnn Cummings, and Charles Osborn Jr. Her grandchildren: Anita Musser ,Tricia Hromada, Ernest Hromada, Marina Dobson, Cody , Kara , Ryan, David, and Daniel Cummings, and great-grandchildren Sabrina, Eliana, Alex, Lucas, Tabitha and Patrick.
Services will be held Wednesday, 6:00 pm, July 3rd, 2019 at the Cocklin Funeral Home, 30 N. Chestnut Street, Dillsburg, PA. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, two hours prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly, NJ at the convenience of the family.
