"Edna A. Fisher, 96, formerly of Nazareth, PA, and Mount Bethel, PA, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019, at Gracedale.
Born in Moore Township, PA, on July 14, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Howard F. and Helen Mae (Smith) Schoenenberger. Edna was a homemaker and devoted and loving mother who exhibited great pride and joy in raising her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Known for having a green thumb, she enjoyed gardening and was quite a talented crafter. Edna was a member of Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church of Moorestown.
She is survived by her son, Larry Fisher and his wife, Linda, of Orefield, PA; daughter, Shirley Olenick and her husband, Edward Sr., of Moore Township; four grandchildren, Lorie Bauer and her companion, Dale Remaley, of Slatington, PA; Shannon Hoffman and her husband, Robert, of Lehighton, PA; Tracey Silfies and her husband, Stewart, of Danielsville, PA, and Edward Olenick, Jr. and his wife, Angela, of Henryville, PA; five great-grandchildren, Isabella, Olivia, Serena, Emily, and Abbie; many nieces and nephews.
Edna was predeceased by her former husband, Melvin Fisher; a grandson, Todd Fisher; her four brothers, Howard, Charles, Lucas, and Ernest Schoenenberger, and her four sisters, Hilda Longley, Emma Wenzell, Catherine Kostenbader, and an infant sister, Helen.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., Village of Moorestown - Bath."
