Services for Jason Dale Olive will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6 at First Christian Church with Rev. Colton Lott and Tara Dew officiating. Burial will follow in the Buena Vista Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Jason died July 1, 2019, in El Reno at 47 years of age. He was born Jan. 22, 1972, in Oklahoma City. A lifelong resident of El Reno, he was employed at the Federal Correctional Institution as dairy supervisor with 13 years of service.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University. Jason was a member of First Christian Church, the Maple Public School Board and was president of Buena Vista Cemetery Association.
Jason was a baseball enthusiast, especially enjoying his children’s baseball and softball games.
On Dec. 20, 1999, Jason married Jaclyn Dominick. Jaclyn survives him.
He is also survived by his mother, Karen Niles Olive; children, Teena Olive and husband, Andrew Wood of Yukon, Layne Olive, also of Yukon and Jaxon and Jadon Olive, both of the home; and a sister, Sandra Posey and husband, Tony of Ada.
His father, Marion Dale Olive, preceded him in death.
