Kenneth “Paul” Oliver, 78, of Bean Station passed away Sunday, June 30 at UT Medical Center. Paul was born February 26, 1941. He was a faithful member of Noeton Primitive Baptist Church.

Paul enjoyed restoring vintage tractors and cars and he was retired from Western Auto. He enjoyed attending local car club shows and cruise ins to meet other car enthusiasts. Paul was also a carpenter and worked at remodeling houses and also doing projects for the church, family and friends. Paul was a 49year member of Tate Springs Lodge #438 F&A.M and a charter member of the Bean Station Volunteer Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Oliver and brother, Carroll Oliver.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris Oliver; children, Lisa (Gary) Ryan, David Oliver and Kay Roach; grandson Jared Roach; brother, Eddie Oliver and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5- 7 pm, Tuesday, July 2, 2019, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to Masonic rites and funeral service at 7:00 with Tate Springs Lodge #438 performing the rites; Scott Howerton and Larry Atkins will officiate the funeral. Graveside services are planned for 11:00 am Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
