" Wednesday , week , Mr. James Pethick was assisting his brother Martin Pethick of Cavan Township, to run a grain crusher when his sleeve was caught in the gearing and his arm was drawn into the gearing and was badly crushed and torn. The shock to his system was great and his suffering for a week were most intense when blood poisoning set in and on Wednesday morning he succumbed to the effects . Mr. Pethick was buried in the Pethick plot in Zion Cemetery , Cavan Township. "
