Betty J. White, 88, of Princeton died on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at her home.  Betty worked for Majestic Laundry and retired with 20 years of service as head housekeeper with Holiday Inn.  She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Princeton. 

Born July 6, 1929 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Elbert M. Tiller (1907-1988) and Ruth B. Pettery-Tiller (1910-1999).  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Luke White (Deceased); and one sister, Brenda Kay Tiller-Hatfield (Deceased). 

She is survived by her three loving children, Lois J. White, Rita A. White-Neal and Marshall White all of Princeton; one brother, Leonard M. Tiller of Danville, VA; one sister, Gertrude White-Snapp of Athens; two special grandchildren, Jennifer and Brian and a grandson Aaron; three great-grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Ed Wimmer speaking.  Those attending the graveside services are requested to meet at the funeral home no later than 1:30 P.M.
