Russell E. Clark, Jr., 93 passed into the arms of his beloved wife, Mille on the morning of June 23, 2019. One day before what would have been their 69th wedding anniversary.

He was a World War II and Korean War Army Medic and received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Russ landed on “D-Day” with the 29th Infantry Division, Company A of 116th Regiment. Later on June 20th he was transferred to the 6th Armored Division, 76th Armored Medical Battalion. Third Army. Russ served as a combat medic in five campaigns. Normandy - North France; Ardenne -Alsace (Battle of the Bulge); Rhineland and Central Europe.

During the Korean War, Russ served with the 8076th MASH Unit at Miryang, (Busan), Daejon.

Russ was the loving father of his son, Scott (Diane) Clark of Grafton, WI; daughter, Cherie (Ron) Klinger of Harrisburg and the best “Pappy/Papaw to his four grandchildren, Kelsey and Zachary Klinger, Brandon and Ashton Clark and one great‑grandchild, Ashiya Clark.

He loved his church family namely Al and Barb Goss, John Bevard, Pastor Les and so many others we wish to name but it would be so long of a list, who walked their faith out by visiting him and building the new wheelchair ramp he did not get to use. But was so looking forward to getting out again.

He was called home by the Lord and our mother because it was time ”he got home”.

His memory will be held dearly in our hearts. The many neighbors who loved and cared for him since he moved there in the early 1950s.
