She attended school at Brown Hill for eight years and attended Houston High School, graduating with the class of 1951.
She was united in marriage to Billy Scheets December 23, 1960.
She was a member of the Central Baptist Church.
She was employed at the Houston School cafeteria as long as her health permitted.
Survivors include her husband, Billy; one daughter, Rosann Marie Scheets of the home; one son, Clarence Dean Scheets of the home; her mother and step-father, Grace and Calvin Ice of Houston; three brothers, Benny Dean Cooper, Mack Cooper and Jack Cooper of Houston; one sister, Dollie Spencer of Summersville and a half-sister, Ruth Best of Lindsay, CA.
She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Cooper, Jan. 3, 1981.
Services were April 6 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating. Burial was in Central Baptist Cemetery.
