Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Zola Wilson.
Leon grew up in the family grocery store. Out of High School he worked at Brown Optical. After that he worked for over 30 years for Clement Foods. He moved to Enterprise, Oklahoma with his parents and started raising cows. He loved them like they were his kids. Leon enjoyed taking care of his cattle, hunting and fishing.
He became a member of Palestine Free Will Baptist Church and loved the people there like they were his family. All in all, they were his family and he will be missed, but he’s with mom and dad in Heaven now and will not hurt any longer.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Palestine Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. Cordell Johnson and Rev. Charles Woodridge officiating. Interment will follow at Enterprise Cemetery in Enterprise, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be at Mallory Chapel in Quinton, Oklahoma from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, and from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.
